About Us!

Hello and welcome to Hopewell Dog Park! We are a family run business based at our home, Hopewell House Farm in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire. We are a grass field farm with livestock but our secure dog park fields are tucked away out of the way and parking is right inside of the secure areas.

Hopewell Dog Park is the perfect place for you and your pooches to visit. We have three outdoor fields, two woodland areas and an indoor barn all available for private hire, so you can enjoy stress free walks with your dogs, knowing they are safe and secure and will not meet other dogs or people!

Why Visit Our Dog Park?

  • Our private hire system is great for reactive/fearful/nervous dogs who need space away from other dogs or people. Our secure 6ft high fencing is great for dogs with little to no recall.

  • All of our areas are FULLY secure. Let your dogs explore and sniff safely, knowing they can not escape!

  • We offer the ideal areas to safely train dogs of any age. Our Obedience Field equipment is yellow and blue, which is the best visibility for dogs.

  • The barn is accessible for wheelchairs and has plenty of seating inside.

  • The fields and woodlands have benches, with parking inside of the secure areas and outside at the gate.

Our dog park really is great for all dogs; puppies with no recall that just want to run around off lead; rescue dogs that need the security of not meeting other dogs; older dogs who just want a nice relaxing stroll around without being bothered by others.

Don’t forget to visit The Walk Inn for a hot drink and snack! Our self service machines only take contactless payment (card or phone).

Rebekah & Cleo

Hi my name is Rebekah and I am the owner of Hopewell Dog Park. I’m the one answering calls and social media messages, checking fields and refilling the toy buckets.

I have a huge passion for everything dog related, and have worked around dogs for years. I have a Rottweiler cross called Cleo who loves exploring off lead but can become anxious when we meet other dogs, this gave me the idea for opening the dog park. Providing a fun, safe area for dogs!
